    Description

    This is a beautiful pair of French early 18th century andirons hand made by a blacksmith in solid forged iron and enhanced by two hearts in the front and topped with two original receptacles, used to keep food or liquids warm in a fire. There are five vertical spit supports- three on the front, one in the hearts and one on the back side at the lowest point. This would give any fireplace character and old world charm. They are beautiful pieces.
