For sale are a heavy duty black steel 30" long fireplace log grate and a black steel 3-panel fireplace screen combination. They are being sold together for local pickup only and are located in Baton Rouge, La. at zip code 70816.
Grate is heavy duty and made from 3/4" bars of solid steel welded together and painted black.  It's 30" long, 17" deep and 7-1/2" high at its highest tip on the edges.  Clearance under the grate for air flow is a tad over 4".   It's in excellent condition with all welds firm and weighs approximately 24 lbs.
3-Paneled screen is also black with sturdy ~3/8" solid steel frame.  Main center screen measures 32" tall and 26" wide.  Two side screen panels measure 32" tall and 13" deep.  They are affixed to center screen with two hinges apiece which allow them to be folded all the way out, all the way in (against center screen) or any position in-between.  All screens are in excellent condition, attached to all sides of frames and with no visible gaps.  Screen weighs about 18-1/2 lbs.
With a grate and screen in this type of condition, it doesn't make much sense to pay up for something new if their design suits your needs and tastes.  But please take a close look at all of the pictures before hitting the purchase button on Ebay (they call this "checkout") to see if both are appropriate for your fireplace as we cannot accept returns.
